Something for the Mice to Do

All night mice ran around our room, gnawing at our food. Kirill woke in time, put everything in a separate bag and hung it from the air conditioner. The mice kept stamping about and rustling. Half an hour later Kirill said: “Better they’re busy with something than running around all night for no reason,” and left them some nuts and a packet of instant noodles. By morning there was nothing left. Not even a trace of the packet.
